Camping at our Clear Creek Facility
We offer tent camping for the person that wants a total mountain adventure, only minutes from Denver. We have a variety of tent sites along Clear Creek, as well as Forested sites. There is a large open fire pit (County Permitted) to tell stories around, a river to enjoy, and possible sightings of wildlife in its natural habitat, so bring a camera. Fishermen bring your pole, bait, and a Colorado license and try your luck/skill. Our camping is offered in conjunction with rafting and/or ATVing combination trips. Camping can be added to any of our Trips/Tours for $5 per person, children under 12 are free with adults. There is a refundable $200 'Leave no Trace' and Tread Lightly deposit.
The following are our most popular overnight trips. At Mile Hi Rafting we pride ourselves in being flexible on helping you to customize any combination of options to create your own experience.
Camp--Sure Shot Rafting Trip--$42 adults; $30 children 12 and under
Great overnight experience for kids! Choose your campsite, relax, enjoy the outdoor beauty, take a hike, or just hang around a campfire. The next morning get ready for the 'Sure Shot' rafting trip. This is our most popular trip for families with 4 generations. Fun and memories for a lifetime! This combination can be upgraded to a 'Blast' intermediate raft trip for an additional $10. Minimum weight/age for beginner rafting is 50 pounds so a PFD (life jacket) will fit.
Ultimo Overnight Trip--$92 minimum age 16*.
This is our Full Day Ultimo rafting trip and adds camping to it. The camping can be added to either the day before the ULTIMO or day of. Minimum 4 people. We can customize this trip!
ABC Adventure: Blast Raft Trip --Camp–2 Hour ATV Tour-$149 minimum age 15*
Exciting, thrilling, whitewater rafting begins your adventure, then relax around the campfire reliving those rapids. The next day discover nature as your never have before, atop an ATV. This combination has been popular with Wedding groups. Many options available!
2 Hour ATV TOUR---REMOTE CAMP---2 Hour ATV TOUR---$199 minimum age 16*
This is a trip for the true thrill seeker. First take a 2 hour ATV Tour up to 'Silver Creek' a ghost town of 1884-1905. Select your camping spot either in the meadow or high above at the Jo Reynolds mine site. Many have heard Tommy knockers in this mine so could be your determining factor. Our guides leave and you are on your own to explore the history and beauty of the area. Enjoy the serenity. The guides return the next morning and take you on another thrilling part of our trail system. This adventure is very popular around full moons, so reserve your spot early, as space is limited to one party per night.
Blast Raft Trip, Camp, Ultimo---$179 minimum age 16*
This combination includes 2 lunches, 1 breakfast, and 1 dinner. All meals are freshly prepared campsite or along the river by your guide. Enjoy the campfire stories about the Blast’s rapids and relax, you will need your energy for the consistent white water rapids of the Ultimo that await you in the morning.
Recommended Personal Gear:
Camp clothes (may be cold) and shoes; swimwear; personal toiletries; sunscreen; insect repellent (with Deet); hat; flashlight; sunglasses; camera.
On all camping trips you provide your own tents and sleeping bags; however, with advance notice we can arrange rentals.
There will be snacks available and you are welcome to bring your own as well as adult beverages, no glass please.

Mile Hi Rafting welcomes groups and can tailor a white water rafting trip for all ages and abilities. We can help you arrange an unforgettable adventure that works within your needs and budget. We welcome Weddings, Meetings, Reunions, Graduations, any family, corporate or social function.
*Minimum age depends upon water flow. The final decision is left to the parent/guardian.
ATV age restrictions are based upon manufacture recommendation. All ATV’s are single passenger vehicles.
Hiking
We have hiking/walking trail for the avid hiker or the leisure walker just wanting to enjoy nature. There are numerous trails, some with graveyards, mine sites, wildlife sightings, and all with awesome views. Your professional interpretive guide will share knowledge of the history, minerals, animal life, and the vegetation. The following is a few of the many trails available--check back often we will be adding trails as we explore.
BLT Trail Beginner 5 miles
The sounds of Clear Creek flowing and the trees along the creek bank make this trail like an escape from civilization. Great for the family, this trail has a minimal amount of climbing on a forested trail. We ascend 900 feet starting at 9800 feet. $17 each
Chief Mountain Trail Beginner 2 miles
We will pass through spruce and fir forest and then reach rocky talus. The last stretch of this trail has an overlook of Mt Evans, Mt Goliath, Rogers Peak, and Rosalie Peak. Views are forever. We ascend 910 feet starting at 10800 feet. $21 each
Silver Creek Wagon Trail Intermediate 5 miles
This is a mostly easy scenic walking trail with a few technical spots. The views are incredible. We will see below the Alvarado Cemetery and explore the remains of Silver Creek Town Site. We will ascend/descend 800 feet starting at an altitude of 8300 feet. $15 each
Pavillion Point Intermediate 4 miles In 1916 construction started on the beautiful summer resort of Pavillion Point. Only a few remains are left. This trail is very scenic and has beautiful aspen groves. We will ascend 800 feet starting at an altitude of 9800 feet. $17 each
Silver Dollar Lake Trail Intermediate 3 miles
This trail is occasionally steep and challenging as it weaves above timberline. Two lakes the Naylor Lake and Silver Dollar lake is our destination. We ascend 1000 feet starting at 11,200. Snow remains on this trail until late July. $17 each
